Leaving behind his familiar mortal body, he drifted aimlessly like a leaf carried by the wind, like a petal floating on water.
It was the wandering of a soul.
He believed it was the process of shedding his earthly shell and seeking his true form.
For a moment, he felt confined within a dark, narrow space—a suffocating pressure crushed his body and head until it felt like he would burst. Then, suddenly, he was pulled somewhere.
Well, what is ascension without pain?
“Uwaaaaaaah!”
…Wait. Crying?
Something was wrong.
The first thing he saw was a wooden bed covered with a crimson silk blanket.
The warmth of a brazier filled the room, along with a fragrant scent…
Was this… a birthing chamber?
And then—
“From this day on, your name shall be Zhuge Mun-Hyeon.”
What? Who? Zhuge?
Something had gone terribly wrong.
